Fear the dark

(2011 August) Acrylics on canvas 35 x 26,5 cm. It's a demon of some kind. I was thinking that since I drew "Anger demon" last summer, it'd be fitting to paint a "fear demon" this year. It didn't turn out quite as I expected, but then I didn't make a sketch beforehand, I just painted.

I was inspired when I was out running about two weeks ago and saw a black plastic bag by the road. Plastic bags are scaaary... oooooh!

EDIT I uploaded a new version with a better scan. It's also darker, but clearer. Tell me if it's too dark though, I have a pretty bright new screen so I might not notice if it's too dark for others to see properly. Thanx for commenting!
