Daily Sketch 16 VIP1 - Hedge Dragon

So, I thought I wanted to draw something in colour. I'm gonna draw this thingy. I wanted to scan it as I progress, step by step to show you how I do. I start by making a sketch in pencil. Then I erase the lines and fill them in with the colours I'm gonna use. That way I don't get annoying pencil lines showing through the colours or making them darker or greyer when I draw. Takes a little longer to begin with, but then I can just start colouring without thinking about that later.
I use my Staedtler Watercolour Pencils.



Also, sorry for the poor quality of the scan. But it's just a VIP. It'll get better as it gets more colour.
