Holding Pencil for soft shading/layering

So, this is how I hold the pen when I draw a soft base layer of colour or when I wanna colour a larger area with the same colour without making it get stripy or uneven. Works for softer shading too. Far back on the pencil and holding it fairly loose, resting my hand/wrist on the table as a stabilizer. (Because of this I use a paper to cover the drawing as I move my hand over the drawing to avoid smearing the colours/pencil).
